Willy`s Phillys in Maynard

Exceptionally bad service, great food. Normally I don't even mind bad service but this is actually disruptively bad service. Charging you more than the listed price. They never answer their phone so you can't call in orders to pick up. Which would be fine but they take twice as long to make your food than any other place.The summary of almost everyone I've talked to is its the second best sub shop in the area but the service is just so awful. You have to invest so much time and money its not worth it. If they would just let you call in orders I'd definitely consider it.Petty additional things, employees screwing around and listening to youtube instead of making food. Also the room is set up so it gets smokey in the dining area. Poor ventilation and a tight place. I could forgive the high prices, smokey room, slow employees and everything else if they just let you call in your order to pick up so I could avoid it all.

Oh the things I should've tried...I get this is partly my fault, but the fact I didn't try the cheesesteak is a major regret. Instead, I got a hoagie. It was a little imbalanced between veg and meat, but otherwise was really good. The fries were seasoned and that always makes me happy. They are thick cut fries and I personally prefer those to strings. Their ATM was down and cash only. Luckily, I had cash on me, but keep that in mind. I will be going back if in town.

Great little place. Had a good price for a lunch special. Service was prompt and friendly. The blt i had was also excellent. Definitely recommend it if youre in the area.

If your anywhere within an hour of Maynard come down and try there amazing variety of steak and cheese subs you will not leave disappointed.

I have eaten here many times. The food is great and worth every penny. I also like the employees. Keep up the good job.

Decent, but not great sandwiches. Always has a little taste of being underseasoned. Decent spot for a quick lunch, but there's better places around for a sub.

The Philly cheese steak was terrible. Don't think I would go back

Quality has gone down hill! They had good food and good customer service but something has changed. Whilly's Phillys had a really good roast beef but the last few time it had no flavor and was dry. The Cheese stakes are still good. But they have started to skimp on the Frys.

Great sandwich. Their cash only but they accept the card some of the time, not sure if its because they have an ATM or what but the food is great and the people are nice there.

First of all, I was charged more for my sandwich than the overhead menu in the store states. Their explanation was that they recently upped the prices and have not yet had a chance to change the menu display. Um..really now? Second, it took them a good 15 minutes to make my easy cold sandwich even though they had 3 employees working in the store and I was the only customer at that time. They were more interested in friendly banter with each other than my sandwich. Last, they forgot to put a couple ingredients in my sandwich.Food quality is decent, but by no means amazing to justify the new apparently higher prices. I mean somehow my sub was almost $10...Anyway, with the amount of great competition in town that make the same or better subs, I definitely WON'T be back.

Standard Philly cheese steak. Kinda pricey.

I've eatten here more than I probably should but it's so good! I've eatten at some of Phillys more famous joints (i.e. Gino's, Pat's) and these are comparable, no joke. The iceing on the cake is the folks that work there, they are awsome people.

Just stopped by on my way through town, got the buffalo chicken steak. It was very good and the blue cheese was really good! The people are very nice here! I was a little confused on my total price vs. what the overhead board said... But good experience nonetheless.

Honestly the food was pretty good. Parking wasn't that hard to find and the restaurant looked cozy. The only downfall was it too a little while for our food and they forgot my friend's barbeque sauce. But don't let those small things take away from the friendly and attentive staff and the great food. The price at the end was a little high for my liking but what can you expect, you get what you pay for. Overall I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to get lunch whether your in town or passing through.

Quiet little place with great food

The food here is shhmackin'! My wife and I are very impressed. My wife had the chicken teriyaki steak sub with fries, she loved everything about it from the sauce to the cheese. I ordered a pastrami on a bulkie roll with onions, black olives and American cheese as well as a original cheese steak. All was made perfectly and made to order which we don't mind waiting for because we know everything is cooked fresh. This is a hidden gem! I am updating this review because we just had some Jalapeno Poppers today (06/03/18) and they were so delicious. You must try the cucumber wasabi sauce, in all my years as a sous chef this sauce is by far the best I have tasted. Get any steak sub and dip it into the cucumber wasabi sauce, you can thank me later.

Went there today after no answer on the phone to find a big utility company sticker on the door stating that the gas or electric had been shut off for non-payment! Not cool.

I agree with C Review - bad service, charged more than shown on menu, food is ok. They lost my phone order and guy in front of me was mad because they lost his online order. People are nice but confusion reins. They put a weird spice on Steak & Cheese and even the plain french fries have some crazy flavor added. They must put the cheese on the bottom of the roll and then add the hot steak since there is no cheese on the top. I love S&C, but Papa Gino's does it better.

The absolute best sandwich shop in Maynard and surrounding area! My favorites are The Hulk and the Roast Beef sandwich on a buttered bulky roll (w/horseradish sauce or BBQ sauce).

Same phone number, same menu, same delicious original with whiz and onions. Next stop, pizza cheese steak.

Food is good, but takes forever. Tried to call ahead today and I went to voicemail. Tried 7x over 30-minutes. Just proves the service is horrible.

We went for lunch on a Monday and ate there. It was a no-fuss lunch with excellent service and food. Great lunch deals, too.

Awesome roast beef sandwiches. So delicious.
